See, learn about, and perhaps even touch, Giant Hissing Cockroaches, Giant Millipede, Scorpion, Tarantula, King Snake, Bearded Dragon. Over a thousand people attended these sessions in the last 12 months!
The Floral Hall is home to a small collection of live exotic captive bred insects and rescued reptiles. They are cared for by Nick Martin who also stages interactive sessions with them during the Easter and Summer school holidays.
These sessions, which last an hour, are open to the public and limited to 25 people per session to ensure all can get up close and ‘interact.’
Schools are asked to see TRAINING CENTRE SERVICES for details on group bookings and other services offered by the Floral Hall & Training Centre.

The sessions are ideal for people of all ages and cost a mere £1.50 per person in addition to the modest Floral Hall admission price and, as children that are pre-teen are admitted free to the Floral Hall, this offers excellent value for money. Please note children must be accompanied by a responsible adult to the Floral Hall and to these interactive sessions.
We also draw every ones attention to the likelihood that the area where the sessions take place will be extremely warm and humidity could also be high. All those attending should be aware of this and dress appropriately.
