GREAT NEWS ABOUT THE FLORAL HALL & TRAINING CENTRE! Many of you will no doubt have known that there was some uncertainty over the future of the Floral Hall due to budget pressures on our owners, The Highland Council. We are delighted that our funding has been secured and we can now look forward to a secure and bright future. We would like to thank all those who supported the continuance of this unique and beautiful facility. CURRENT OPENING TIMES: April to October - Daily, Floral Hall & Gardens 10am – 5pm, Coffee Shop 10am -4.30pm November to March - Daily, Floral Hall & Gardens 10am - 4pm, Coffee Shop 10am - 3.30pm. Last admissions to Floral Hall & Gardens, 30 minutes before closing time. We are closed during the Christmas and New Year Fortnight
CURRENT ADMISSION CHARGES Entry times and prices may be subject to change. LATEST UPDATES PLANT SALES Last year we began selling plants to the public. This was very successful and we are expanding on the range we have for sale. We take a real pride in the plants we produce and our prices are always extremely competitive.
As we now have a fully equipped purpose made classroom in addition to the Floral Hall and Gardens we would be very pleased to hear from anyone interested in running courses or workshops that would add value to the Floral Hall as a popular visitor and educational centre? For example, sessions on Flower Arranging, Container Planting, Home Composting, Garden Planning & Design, Basket Making, Propagating, Botanical Art, and Garden Pests & Diseases. To deliver any session it is essential for you have a thorough knowledge of your subject and can present it (to groups of up to 12 people) with confidence and enthusiasm. You must also be totally reliable. As sessions must offer good value for money we would wish to discuss and agree pricing levels with you. We are happy to consider sessions that run for ninety minutes or a few hours, whole days or form a full series. The times during which sessions may be held are: November to March, Monday to Friday from 10am to 3.30pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 10.30am to 3.30pm. April to October, Monday to Friday from 9.15am to 4.45pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 10.30am to 4.30pm.
